The Kenyan government recognizes the huge energy demand presented by water heating and the carbon emissions implication with the used of electrical and fossil fuel alternatives. To this end the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority developed the energy (Solar Water Heating) Regulations 2012 requiring premises that use more than 100 litres of water per day to instal renewable water heating mechanisms.
Daisy Heat pumps would provide a great alternative to the conventional water heating systems, as it guarantees savings of up to 75% compared to the conventional electrical water heating systems
With a COP consistently higher than 3, Daisy presents an al day all year performance second to no other solution. What’s more is that it can easily be coupled with an existing solar water heating system for an even higher performance level.
